Prato pozzo rifugio di valle

The farm holiday Prato Pozzo is completely immerse in the Po Delta Park, just below the banks of the river Reno, close to the “Valli di Comacchio” in the delta territory. This landscape is rich in all the reflections of water: lagoons, inlets, humid zones, salines, ecc.
A natural setting for innumerables birds species: little egrets, blue herons, white-eyed pochards, red herons, white headed dock, pink flamingoes, spoonbills, sheldrakes, oyster catcher, the little tern, marsh harriers and many other.
Our agriturismo is “Infopoint for the Po Delta Park” area
The main and particular attraction is our “Naturalistic birdwatching Path”, running through the all farmhouse’s land, a site which is home to populations of birds all year round.
The visitors can use the educational facilities with observatories along an area of about 16 ha, that plays host to different environments of our plain, including wet valleys, aquatic garden, natural pools and so on.
Prato Pozzo is also very close to the cities of Ravenna, Ferrara, Pomposa and of course the water town Comacchio.
